Extracurricular Activity

Learning and development extend beyond the classroom. Student Council, Drama, Scouting, Dance, Prep Bowl, Band and Choir are areas in which students can participate and grow. 

Sports*-Students in PK-5th grades may participate in the West Houston Christian Association and play on St. Jerome teams with their classmates.  6th-8th grade boys and girls may play on St. Jerome teams and will compete with other teams in the district. 

Student Council officers are voted on by their peers, every Fall, and participate in many different activites throughout the year. 

The Drama Department holds auditons for the spring musical after the Christmas holidays.  All middle school students are invited to audition for roles and crew positions.

St. Jerome has very active Boy Scout and Girl Scout troups, who participate in many different activities throughout the school year, both on and off campus.

Dance* is offered as an after school activity, in which an outside Dance company comes to the school to teach weekly lessons.

Prep Bowl is open to middle school students.  St. Jerome is proudly represented at various competitions around the Houston area.  Many awards are won by this group of outstanding students!

Steel Drum Band is offered to students in the 6th-8th grades.  Classes are held during the school day.  The band participates in competitions around the Houston area, along with performing at various school programs.

National Junior Honor Society-Qualifying junior high students may participate.
